DUI, passenger arrested for drug possession: Police pulled over Pedro Magana, 24, for running a stop sign in a gray 2005 Nissan Altima and found that Magana was allegedly driving under the influence and with a suspended driver’s license.
His passenger, 26-year-old Adam Guerrero, was allegedly found with 20 grams of marijuana, four grams of cocaine, multiple cell phones, $540 in cash as well as other drug paraphernalia, and arrested for possession of controlled substances for sale. Both arrestees were taken to Santa Clara County Jail.
Assault over eviction
On June 14 at 9:36 p.m. on the 1400 block Eagles Nest Lane, 43-year-old Ruth Pizuno got arrested for assaulting another female who gave her an eviction notice. The victim endured undisclosed non-life threatening injuries, but did not seek medical attention. Â
Threats at knifepoint
A male suspect took a knife to his victim’s throat and threatened his life after a confrontation between the two on Farell Avenue and Monterey Street. Police will not release anymore details, Gallacinao said.
Man exposes himself
On June 16 at 7:07 p.m., a male 30 to 40 years old allegedly exposed himself to two teenage girls in front of Best Buy on Camino Arroyo. The suspect, who wore a baseball cap and a Dallas Cowboys jersey, pulled down his shorts and touched himself in front of the victims. Police are investigating.
Fossil store burglarized
On June 14 at 12:03 a.m., an unknown suspect broke the window to the front door of Fossil in the Gilroy Premium Outlets, and stole multiple watches. An alarm went off, and when police arrived, the suspect had already fled, said Gilroy Police Sgt. Chad Gallacinao.
