Born in Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Brown enjoyed playing slot machines, pranks, being in the middle of a good fight, a good meal, shopping and spending time with her kids.
She loved riding the ferry along Coney Island, and she really lived life to the fullest.
She is the mother of Ida Elizabeth Johnson Ferro and her husband Jose of Merced; grandmother of Brandy Pereira Juarez and her husband George of Morgan Hill, Ligia Fandrey and her husband Robert of Morgan Hill and Anntoinette Ferro and Nick Fuentes of Merced; great-grandmother of George Joseph Juarez of Morgan Hill, Karlie Elizabeth Juarez of Morgan Hill and Phillip Emery Ferro of Morgan Hill; sister of Evelyn Burton and her husband William of Bellvue, Kent.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Emitt Emery Brown and many brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at 1pm Thursday May 26, 2005 with a funeral service beginning at 3pm at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
