Traffic backed up this morning due to accident

An accident on southbound U.S. 101 this morning in Morgan Hill backed up traffic to San Martin, 

The four vehicle was a “rear-ender,” said an officer from the California Highway Patrol after the accident occurred this morning at 7 a.m. There were no reports of injuries. 

Other parts of U.S. 101 were not so lucky. An fatal accident in Gilroy also about 7 a.m. closed a portion of the highway south of Rocks Road for about an hour.
