New members elected to South County Dems Club

Elections were held at the South County Democratic Clubs regularly scheduled meeting Jan. 21.

Newly elected and continuing officers for the South County Democratic Club are Eleanor Villarreal President, Susan McKuhen; Vice President (continuing), Rebecca Scheel Secretary and Forrest Williams Treasurer, Connie Rogers is serving as Parliamentarian and Alex Kennett is Immediate Past President.

2012 goals include increasing membership, endorsement of local candidates and getting more Democrats elected.

Meetings are held the third Saturday each month from 10 a.m. to noon at the main building community room at Village Green on Isabella Way off Third Street and Santa Teresa Blvd. in Gilroy. The next meeting will be Saturday, Feb. 18 at 10 a.m.
