Finals for the Mid Cals

The finals for the 32nd annual Mid Cals wrestling tournament is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday at Gilroy High School. Seventy-four teams are represented in the tournament. The finals will consist of 14 matches under the spotlight on the center mat.

Benefit concert for children with Crohn’s

Come out for a benefit show for Camp Oasis and children living with Crohn’s disease beginning at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at 9Lives, 7430 Monterey St. Proceeds help send children and their families to camp with 24-hour-medical care where they learn how to live with this disease and to just be a kid. Cioppino dinner and dance

GHS fashion show fundraiser

Gilroy High School’s annual “Coutu-re” prom fashion show benefitting the GHS parent club and the “Gilroy Coutu-re” program will take place at 3 p.m., Sunday at Westside Grill, 8080 Santa Teresa Blvd. The program maintains a community closet of recycled prom wear, which is made available to GHS students.
