Air Force Airman Edward A. Echevarria Jr. graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Echevarria is the son of Edward and Teresa Echevarria of Hollister and a
2010 graduate of San Benito High
School.

Marci Michalovitz and Joel Robinson are engaged to be married.
Marci, daughter of Arlene Sweet, studied fashion merchandising at CSU Long Beach and is a wardrobe stylist in Long Beach.
Joel, son of Julie and Joe Robinson of Gilroy, is a 2002 graduate of Gilroy High School and a 2008 graduate of Brooks College. He is the art director of Advanced Soccer Media in Long Beach.
