Christmas Hill Park.
Gilroy – Rudy Maquinalez went 4-for-4 and Reynaldo Lara blasted a three-run home run as No Soup 4 You opened the Men’s CCC League softball competition with a 10-9 edging of the Desperados Monday at Christmas Hill Park.

Richard Luna singled and scored on a Maquinalez double in the top of the seventh to give the Soup a 10-8 lead. Frank Higuera singled and scored the final Desperados run in the bottom of the frame.

Luna collected two hits and scored three runs. Benjie Casarez went 2-for-3 and scored three runs, while Lorenzo Nino tripled for the Desperados.

Rick Trujillo stroked a three-run home run as Dutchman’s Pizza topped Central Coast Collision 19-4 in the Christmas Hill nightcap.

Jason Trujillo and Anthony Hernandez each scored four Dutchman’s Pizza runs. Ed Solis, Hernandez and Eric Magana each netted three hits. Chris Thomas laced a two-run double for Central Coast Collision.

Pro Electric powered to a 24-9 victory over Campbell’s Towing. Mikie Sandoval, Chris Adame, Eddie Adame and Matias Franco each homered for the Electricians. Brandon Straw drove in five Campbell’s Towing runs with a home run, triple and single.

California Silk Screening opened Men’s CC play with a 25-0 win over Windsor Plumbing Monday at Christmas Hill Park. Maciel Urenda blasted a home run, two doubles and a single for the Screeners, Carlos Garcia a solo homer. David Jackson doubled for Windsor Plumbing.

John DeCarlo Jr. drilled three home runs, Jesse Nunez two and Mike Leslie one in a 28-8 Countryside Daycare Center win over Temple Inland.

Dave DeCarlo and John DeCarlo Sr. each produced four hits for Countryside. Serf Mancera went 3-for-4 for Temple Inland.

Scott Rader, Mike Lopez and Alan Hazelberg hit home runs as Aladdin Bail Bonds-Rhino Wiring defeated the Las Animas Sweepers 23-2. Joe Arde went 2-for-2 for the Sweepers.
