152582~Why is it that ‘popular’ translates into celebrated
coverage?—Dear Editor,
Reading the headline

Popular teen…

I had to roll my eyes. Just because a person is popular should
the sense of loss be greater?
Personally, I agree with this. If someone else less popular would have died would it be written about as much. Have we tried looking at the drivers point of view? all we do is look at the parents and the family and friends points of view. I’m sure if Tony knew what would have happened he wouldn’t have done it. And do the parents not have any part in the death of their daughter? What was she doing out at early morning hours with two 18 year olds and a 15 year ol?. i think everyone had a part to play in her death. and in articles right after her death her father said if one life could be saved from her death he knew her death wouldn’t have been wasted well someone please let him know that my life has been saved i used to ride in the back of the truck at my house from our barn to our hous well i don’t anymore and i always wear my seatbelt. well that’s my 2 cents
