home in Gilroy.
Alfred Lamont Lawrence Sr., died Saturday April 9, 2005 at his home in Gilroy.
A native of Richmond, he was 62. Mr. Lawrence was a dedicated employee of the Union Pacific Railroad for more than 42 years, and he has been a lifetime resident of Santa Clara County.
He is survived by his beloved wife Rita of Gilroy; children, Monty Lawrence of Monte Sereno, John and wife Darlene Lawrence of Gilroy and Brad Lawrence of Gilroy; grandchildren, Haley, Cassidy and Leighan; siblings, Glennette Lawrence of Gilroy, Robin Montano of Sunnyvale and Kandi Crowder of San Jose; parents, Glen Lawrence of Corning and Retha Rentfro of San Jose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, April 15, 2005, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.’
Burial will follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, Watsonville.
