Reward has doubled for Glen View fire

Gilroy – School officials are upping the ante in the hunt for information regarding the fire at Glen View School March 29. The reward was doubled to $2,000 Wednesday.

“I have to think this is going to make a difference,” said Assistant Superintendent Steve Brinkman.

Originally the fire and police departments put up $250 each, and Gilroy Unified School District then matched the sum. GUSD’s insurance company has now put up an additional grand in an effort to locate the suspect(s). The reward will be issued for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s).

Bulletins were posted across the district sites announcing the change.
