Dear Editor,

Are any of us to blame for Mother Nature? Acts of God? Earthquakes? Imagine that! Left wingers claim that the Katrina Hurricane was a political move against African Americans and the poor! I am so sick of the media making this tragedy about politics! Rubbish!!! The Mayor of New Orleans failed to act! Not President Bush. Amazing how most local governments want less feds involved in their towns. When a local official blows it (in this case gross negligence) it’s the president’s fault?

Another topic, which is mentioned simultaneously with the slams against President Bush and this natural disaster, is our involvement in Iraq. The media refuses to bring to light the good that is occurring there! My son is a Marine, he signed up for it. All we hear about is x number of our soldiers died. What about the women and children saved from the Saddam’s regime, which is the closest thing to total evil?

How quick the media forgets we did not start this. They did! We gave Saddam notice we would come and get them if they did not comply by allowing us to inspect their weapons cache. Where is the video tapes of massive semi truck convoys out of Iraq into Syria? Gee, wonder what was in those trucks? WMDs? You can bet on it!

Also, they did find WMDs in several bunkers in remote areas – and guess who’s name is stamped on them? Germany and France! Where is the media on these facts? CNN actually did a little blip on this a year or better ago, and we never heard of these facts since, Why? Because some can not fathom we have such evil afoot and want another Clinton to sabotage our nation. Perhaps truth is too much for pacifists! Oh yeah, it’s political!
