Why: “It won a gold medal at the L.A. County Fair. It’s an estate bottled wine. The vineyard’s over 60 years old, so it’s an old-vine zinfandel. It’s very fruity, but mellow, with a little bit of zinfandel pepper,” said Larry Spivak, tasting room manager
