This is my response to the president’s speech on the State of the Union address.
First of all, where is he going to get all the money for his new vision for America? Again he is reaching for the stars without a spaceship! This is reality?!?!
How can the Republican response be that inflation is low, crime is low, unemployment is low and we are winning in Iraq?
We are just being told what we want to hear! Tax cuts for the rich made permanent, the money for Katrina victims nowhere to be seen, the poor getting poorer, the rich getting richer – that’s reality.
The debt the country has is staggering, health care is below standards, lay-offs are everywhere, jobs with low wages have been replaced with jobs with lower wages, there is crime everywhere, inflation is everywhere, and the Republican party is out of touch with the American people.
