Kalai Kraze reached 3-0 in first-half Women’s Softball League competition Wednesday by edging All 4 Seasons Pet Services 8-5 at Las Animas Park.

Carissa Kozacek pulled a two-run home run to right field in the fourth inning to give Kalai Kraze a 6-1 cushion. Maureen Hughes went 3-for-4 and Vicki Groppe and Val Logan added two hits apiece for All 4 Seasons Pet Services.

Monica Pantoja homered in a 3-for-4 effort as Corey’s Girls (2-1) defeated Blackout Window Tinting 17-10.

Corey Casillas added three singles and Vinny Pena scored three Corey’s runs. Tracy Mason tripled and doubled for Blackout.

The Battle Brothers are 3-0 in Men’s C League play following Wednesday’s 20-13 decision over the Players-HD Auto Glass at Christmas Hill Park. The Players jumped out to an 8-0 lead, before the Battle Brothers rallied back in the late innings.

Nate Mixter went 4-for-4 including a triple and Charlie Duffy powered two home runs for the league leader. Gary Diaz went 4-for-5 for the Players.

Pacific Coast Bail Bonds (2-1) used four-hit performances by Ray Rojas Jr. and Joel Gaeta to defeat New Hope Community Church 20-16. Juan Contreras added a homer and two singles for the winners. Jimmy Shrull went 4-for-5 and scored three New Hope runs.

Mark Terrill went 3-for-3 Tuesday as JR’s Crew (3-0) outlasted Advance Wheels 12-4 in Co-Rec B League play.

Frankie Medina collected three hits and Laura Vargas stroked a three-run triple for the Crew. Anthony Lucio went 3-for-3 and Chris Velador scored two runs for Advance Wheels.

Edward Lujan drove in five runs with a homer, double and single to key a 16-11 Frank Vargas Taxes win over Just 2 Party. Cameron Bautista went 4-for-4 for Just 2 Party.
