Police arrested a 20-year-old man who shot at least seven people in Gilroy with a pellet gun earlier this month, resulting in injuries to some victims, authorities said.

Most of the incidents occurred on June 14. The shootings occurred along First Street, Gilroy Police said. The victims of the shootings ranged in age from 15-48.

Several victims suffered “injuries to the head and neck, and three were transported to area hospitals for treatment,” Gilroy PD said in a press release.

During the investigation, detectives identified Curtis Rodriguez as the suspect, police said. Within days after the shootings, two Gilroy Police officers located Rodriguez in the 1300 block of First Street. The officers arrested Rodriguez on suspicion of the pellet gun shootings, says the press release.

Police think there could be other victims of Rodriguez’s shootings who have not come forward. Anyone who thinks they were shot or has information can contact Gilroy Police Det. Kenneth Ellsworth at Ke***************@**********oy.org or Det. Jason Arbrun at Ja**********@**********oy.org
