MORGAN HILL – Henry Coe State Park will host a variety of programs on Saturday and Sunday.
Take part in a 5-mile Frog Lake Loop Discovery Hike on Saturday at 10 a.m. Be sure to bring water and a lunch. There will be a classroom session on basic hiking and backpacking. Sign up by contacting Chuck Nelson, ch*******@*******al.net or 267-9864.
At 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. members of Coe’s volunteer horse patrol will bring their varied breeds of horses for the public to meet. The wildflower walks and hikes will depart from the Visitor Center at park headquarters.
The evening program, a tour of Coe Park seasons through nature slides, will be at the Visitor Center at 8 p.m. and last about an hour. There will be wildflower walks Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
