Dear Editor,
A safe assumption is that the San Benito Board of Supervisors are paid for their work. Also, they are probably paid for jobs in the private or public sector.
They voted unanimously to deny the “go ahead” for the Indian Casino.
On the other hand, it’s my understanding that the folks in Hollister have a very large number of its residents unemployed.
The management of the casino have gone on record the employ a significant number of the unemployed for jobs. These jobs, to name just a few, would be maids, dealers, handymen, etc.
Yet, the “fat cats” have said NO!, a deaf ear to the unemployed, the plight of those who need jobs.
Who is representing whom?
