I’m a fan of the late Frank Zappa, so once I did one of these Google alert things so that it tells me whenever the word “Zappa” pops up anywhere in the world. This way I can keep up with posthumous releases, tribute bands and so on.
So my Mac always goes “ping” when Gilroy resident Mark Zappa gets a name check in your paper (which is quite often), and I must say the things he seems to stand for provide such a rich counterpoint to the things Mr F. Zappa used to stand for … well, it provides me with much amusement. However, I’m coincidentally starting to take quite an interest in your community.
Perhaps I could provide a detached view of the issues of the day, being your token London, England correspondent?
