I just wanted to take the time to thank Sports Editor Scott Forstner for the wonderful article he wrote. It was great of him to do that, it has helped me tremendously with work and I think it is getting more girls involved and that is what’s important. I believe the story sparked a fire with some kids and that is what I hoped it would do. Anyways I have heard many great things about his involvement in the community and his support of female athletes, so I just wanted to say thank you to him and that he is doing a great thing here in Gilroy.

Sarah Caudle is my younger sister. I just wanted to compliment you on a great article. I know I am biased, but it is great that The Dispatch has recognized all she has done in 10 short years. Although now kids have Jeff Garcia to look up to, she is a realistic role model for the young people (especially the young women) of Gilroy to look up to.
