Wednesday.
Five trailers hauling the modulars for new ARCO AMPM on the corner of Leavesley Road and Murray Avenue in Gilroy arrived Wednesday. The trailers, which were being trucked in from Georgia, were originally scheduled to arrive Jan. 25 but were delayed a few days because of weather. The building is fully functional and ready to be occupied. However the contractors still need to connect the electrical and plumbing on the site. The owner hopes to re-open the former Shell station March 15 and plans a grand opening at a later date.
