Bluegrass comes to Morgan Hill
The California Bluegrass Association presents “A Night at the Grange” with multiple award winners Grasstowne and O.M.G.G. (obviously minor guys and girl). The show takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday – doors open an hour before the show – at the Morgan Hill Grange Hall, 40 E. 4th St. Tickets are $25 for non-members, $23 for members. Hula for the Learning Center
The Learning and Loving Education Center is holding its annual fundraising event from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. This year, the traditional wine-tasting will be complemented by a performance of ancient Hawaiian dance and music titled “Hula through the Ages.” This cultural evening starts at 2:30 p.m. with wine tasting from local vintners, snacks provided by Rosy’s at the Beach, followed by a dance performance by Halau o’ Koikiali’i at 4 p.m. Tickets are $65 each and may be purchased by sending a request to: 5th Annual Wine Tasting, The Learning and Loving Education Center, 16890 Church St. Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
