Barbara Lynn Kannely-Stites died unexpectedly on Feb. 13, 2004.
She leaves her husband Gary Stites and son Richard William, 16, stepson Gary Stites Jr., stepdaughter, Deanna Duyao.
She was born Oct. 28, 1951, to the late Richard and Mary Kannely, the third of seven sisters; Kathleen Brawley, of Ardmore, Okla., Mary Ann Puente, of Gilroy, Eloise Kannely, of Saipan, Diane Britt, of Morrison, Ill., and Eileen Stillwell and Colleen Newton, both of Gilroy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and four step-grandchildren.
Barb was born and raised in Gilroy and was a fourth generation Gilroyan. She had made her home in Ardmore since 1980 and was the bookkeeper and secretary for Gary’s Roofing Company.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 18 at the Harvey-Douglas Chapel, Ardmore. Her final resting place is the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends both in Oklahoma and Gilroy.
