Lita and Ed Fox and Mike and Lynn Baxter of Santa Cruz announce the engagement of Nalani Marie Baxter to Christopher Daniel Battaglia. Christopher is the son of Jim and Gail Battaglia of Santa Cruz.
Nalani graduated from Live Oak High School in 1995 and graduated from Chico State University with a defree in food service administration.
Christopher graduated from Live Oak High School in 1995, attended Chico State University, and graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in recreational and hospitality management. He currently is assistant manager with Enterprise Rent-a-car in Scotts Valley.
The couple got engaged May 25, 2002, in front of family and friends during Chris’ graduation party held at the Battaglia’s residence.
The couple plans their wedding date for July 5, 2003, which is Nalani’s birthday.
