The National Weather Services has confirmed that it can’t rain ALL year. So when it does stop, you’ll want your golf game to be ready.

Start by looking at your clubs to see if they need a “tune-up.” Now is a good time to look into having new grips put on them or any other repairs done, such as that re-shafting or refinishing you’ve been putting off.

How are those shoes? They likely have been sitting in the garage for quite some time, so investing in a new pair is probably a good idea.

The spring is a good time to buy because all the newest styles are out.

As far as your swing is concerned, a little refresher lesson is always helps start the season off on the right foot.

The last thing you want to do is to frustrate yourself and start forming bad habits.

At the very least, spend a couple of hours on the range getting re-acquainted with your clubs so you can track your distances and shot tendencies with each club.

By doing this, you won’t have as many surprises when you take your game out on the course.

And remember, when you do hit the links for the first time this season, take an umbrella just in case.
