Betty L. Welch May 13, 1922 – December 19, 2015

 Betty passed away peacefully, in her home. 
 She is survived by her five children: Gloria (Bud) Granger of Hollister, CA; Gisela (Frank) Kalauch of Carmel, CA; Penny (Clayton) Johnston of Chambersburg, PA; Cindy (Ron) Stern of Granby, CO; H.O. (Diane) Welch of Redding, CA; and 42 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 Betty worked in the Foster Grandparent Program at Sunnyslope and Ladd Lane Schools for 30 years with kindergarten and first grade students. She loved her students, reading and teaching them numbers, letters and sounds. 
 She will be remembered for her gummy bears and cakes.
