GILROY – Ro Gaeta and Nick Hilton hit consecutive home runs in a five-run third inning to help Bike Center past Victoria’s Italian Deli 13-12 in the Men’s D Softball League opener Friday at Christmas Hill Park.

Mike Catangay went 4-for-4 and Marcus Gaeta lined two triples to aid the Bike Center cause.

Scott Ross and Ricky Kroger hit consecutive doubles in the final inning as Victoria’s struck for five runs. Paul Bianchi went 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Deli.

Humboldt Brewing struck for five runs in the fifth inning to expand a 6-5 lead and take a 13-7 decision over Los Cochinos.

Al Roybal sparked the Humboldt attack with a triple, two doubles and two singles. Eddie Adame went 3-for-3 and scored three Los Cochinos runs. Juan Arias and Steve Aguirre added two-run home runs for the losers.

Marco Lopez drove in five runs with a homer, triple and single as the Hit Men topped the Bomb Squad 22-6. Mario Razo netted a home run, triple and two singles for the Hit Men. Cesar Vasquez homered and David Espinoza went 3-for-4 for the Bomb Squad.

Joseph Tovar clubbed a home run, triple and double as Hi-Energy Networks opened the Co-Rec C League season Sunday with a 12-6 victory over El Fuego at Las Animas park.

Eric Martin provided three singles for Hi-Energy. Marcelino Cortez and Chris Hatch hit triples for El Fuego.

Anthony Lucio hit a grand slam, Marco Lopez and Mario Razo three-run shots, as RSW Racing defeated Anritsu 16-1. Elaine Santiago drove in the Anritsu run. Dave Soto went 2-for-2.

Art Garcia went 4-for-4 and Louis Bobadilla scored four runs as Out To Play/Pro Electric topped Team Hair FX 20-9. Gilbert Ramirez and Tony Martinez each tripled and singled as Team Hair FX scrambled to a 9-9 tie after four innings.

Blackout Window Tinting defeated Rush Order 23-4 in Co-Rec B play Sunday. Terry Smith went 4-for-5 with a grand slam for Blackout. Olga Hurtado, Danny Pequeno and Fran Fitzharris netted two hits each for Rush Orde.

Paul Garcia went 4-for-4, Gabe Ponce 3-for-3 as Frank Vargas Taxes outlasted Gaeta’s Ballers 15-4. Ruben Ramirez went 3-for-3 and scored two Gaeta’s runs. Eddie Adame went 3-for-3 for the losers.
