GILROY—The driver in the wreck that killed four Gilroyans May 12 was arrested Thursday and charged with manslaughter and felony driving under the influence, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorist suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol when he struck a man who died as a result of the accident last fall was in court Tuesday, but his hearing was postponed.Â
On Monday, the trial for James Francis Lee who is charged with driving under the influence and manslaughter in the death of a 4-year-old boy was delayed again - now until June 25.
A 23-year-old Hollister man died in a single-vehicle accident early Friday morning, and the California Highway Patrol arrested the 19-year-old driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
