Fortino Ayala, 10, went missing at 1:15pm Monday from the 2300 block of Young Tom’s Court in the Eagle Ridge development in west Gilroy. Ayala was helping his father landscape a home when he disappeared. There is no indication that he was abducted, Gilroy police said. He was wearing a blue shirt, tan pants and tan shoes when he disappeared. He is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 80 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes, and is Hispanic. He was still missing as of press time Monday.
