‘Holistic Health Seminar’

A “Holistic Health Seminar” will be held on Saturday, May 21, from 10:30am to 5pm at J/L Ranch, 8450 Leavesley Road in Gilroy.

Several speakers will be featured on a variety of topics including herbs used by the American Indian and self-awareness of a soul collage.

Cost is only $35 per person and includes lunch.

GALS Host Home And Garden Tour

Gilroy Assistance League (GALS) is proud to present the Home and Garden Tour, “Impressions” on Saturday and Sunday, May 21 and 22, from 10am until 3pm in the gated community “The Forest”.

Guests will be shuttled to the site from the parking lot at Ascencion Solarsano School where they will then walk to 4 homes and gardens.

Please wear flat shoes. Due to the Forest’s hilly landscape wheelchair access will be unavailable and no infants or children under 12 will be allowed.

Tickets are $30.

Pet Adoption Fair

Friends of San Martin Animal Shelter (FOSMAS) is hosting a pet adoption fair on Saturday, from noon to 5pm at the Petco on San Ysidro Ave. in Gilroy.

Adopt a fuzzy companion, meet volunteers or make a donation to support animal rescue efforts.

Rucker 4-H Reunion

The Rucker 4-H Club invites all members, leaders and families of the club between the years of 1975 through 1985 to a reunion at Rucker School on Saturday, May 21, from 11am to 2pm.

Garden And Culinary Show At Bonfante

The seventh annual Home, Garden and Culinary Show is moving back to its original home inside the gates of Bonfante Gardens on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 from 10am to 6pm.

A variety of exhibits will be featured to help locals with their decorating, remodeling or landscaping projects.

Special guest Lee Snidjer from HGTV’s Design on a Dime will make two guest appearances during the event. The Show is included with admission to Bonfante Gardens.

Understand A Gay One

PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), a support group fostering understanding, holds monthly meetings every third Saturday at 9:30am, at The United Methodist Church of Gilroy.

The 2005 downtown Gilroy Flea Market, at the Lewis Street parking lot, is being held from 8:30am to 3pm on the third Saturday of each month, now through October, except in July when it will be on the fourth Saturday.
