Local design firm Articulate Solutions recently promoted Linda Hathaway to the position of associate agency director. Hathaway has worked for Articulate Solutions for seven years as the firm’s Business Services Administrator. Articulate Solutions has helped businesses successfully develop effective communication and design strategies since 1991.
Smith named exec. at Valley Medical
Jeffrey V. Smith, Santa Clara county executive, announced the appointment of Linda M. Smith (not related) to head the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, the county’s 574-bed acute care hospital. Smith, whose appointment is effective Feb. 1, 2011, will return to Valley Medical where she began her health career as a respiratory therapist.
Cambridge receives top marks
Kim Gaxiola of the Gaxiola Financial Group in Morgan Hill announced her broker Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. recently was rated 9 on a 10 point scale compared to other brokers in terms of overall satisfaction. This marks the 12th consecutive year the firm has ranked 9 out of 10 in comparison to other brokers. More than 390 registered representatives completed the September 2010 survey, which assessed ratings in categories including technology, practice management, registration /licensing and marketing.
