Regarding Joe Garcia’s letter about the “chips & salsa” sign: I agree wholeheartedly that the sign is a disgrace to one of Gilroy’s finest historical buildings.
Our Old City Hall was once a grand and proud building. Now I look at the building with some sorrow as I see it sporting a neon sign advertising “chips and salsa.”
I hope they take it down and restore some dignity to our Old City Hall. Until then, I won’t be a patron.
