event Saturday intended to teach residents correct ways to install
and use child safety seats in their vehicles.
The California Highway Patrol will co-host a free family safety event Saturday intended to teach residents correct ways to install and use child safety seats in their vehicles.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in front of the Mi Pueblo Food Center, located at 727 First Street in Gilroy.

Trained child passenger safety technicians will be on hand to demonstrate the proper techniques. The demonstrations will occur on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the CHP.

Officials from Safe Kids–Santa Clara County/San Mateo County and State Farm Insurance will also be in attendance.
