City phone lines to shut down Friday morning

The City of Gilroy will be required to shut down all
non-emergency phone lines from about 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to perform
repairs to the city network.

Emergency 911 lines will continue to function normally. The Gilroy Police Department has arranged for two alternate phone numbers for non-emergency callers: 846-9764 and 846-9863.
