Dear Editor:
Dennis Taylor’s column Wednesday states that an 18-year-old woman died of “blood poisoning following an abortion from a drug called RU-486.”
Really?
The AP report said “a massive infection caused by fragments of the fetus left inside her uterus” caused “bleeding and cramps so severe that she was unable to walk” leading to her death by septic shock.
Perhaps Mr. Taylor should tell the whole truth, but that would not fit his liberal agenda.
There are other deaths attributed to RU-486; one of the more recent occurred last March in Uddevalla, Sweden with the woman bleeding to death as a result of taking this toxic chemical.
Mr. Taylor also points out that RU-486 can prevent a fertilized egg from implanting itself in the womb.
Since life begins at conception, this also correctly describes one type of an abortion.
