We take a look at the stories that are coming to the web and in
the paper. This week: Local developer and activist Chris Cot
&
amp;#233 talks about being attacked in his home and a couple
discusses their memories from 60 years of marriage.
1. Activist speaks about attack
In an exclusive interview with Dispatch reporter Chris Bone, developer Chris Cote recounts the violent horror he awoke to and who he thinks may be behind the attack.
2. Sixty years, and counting
Marge and John Albaugh recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Between the two of them, they have turned St. Joseph’s Family Center into what it is today, raised six children, been named Man and Woman of the Year, and traveled to Rome to meet Pope John Paul II, all while remaining best friends.

Dear Editor, I was Special Counsel for GUSD in the victims’ case against Christopher Michael Cote, who at one point was on the FBI most wanted list. After he stole the junior high school’s students’ money for their annual trip to the State Capitol, and after he did the same thing to GHS’s students’ money for the annual trip to Disneyland, former Councilman Bob Dillion filed Small Claims Court complaints against Mr. Cote, but was unable to enforce the Judgments, so I took over. Then when GUSD and other victims got a judgment against him in the Municipal Court, we proceeded with involuntary judgment enforcement with the help of local Municipal Court judges. After I got a Writ of Execution and was having the Sheriff execute on Cote’s black-all-around, blacked-out windows, Corvette, he jumped into Bankruptcy Court. There we won a Nondischargeability Judgment, and continued judgment enforcement in the Municipal Court. There is much more to this story, but your report apparently has only one side of it.
