Browns to Provide Halftime Entertainment at 49ers Game
The Gilroy Browns Junior Midget football team and Pee Wee cheerleading squad have been invited to participate in today’s San Francisco 49ers-San Diego Chargers preseason game at Monster Park.
During halftime of the game that begins at 7 pm, the Gilroy Browns will take the field against the West Bay Rams Junior Midgets. The girls will be on the field cheering. They will also have the opportunity to be on the field during the national anthem and coin toss.
The 49ers-Chargers game will be televised by CBS.
Tickets for Fight Available
Discounted tickets for the Sept. 14 edition of Fight Night at the Tank that includes Hollister fighter Kelsey Jeffries are available at Garlic City Billiards for $25.
Jeffries, the NABF Women’s Super Bantamweight champion, will put her 34-9-1 record on the line in a six-round bout at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.
Headlining the card is Hector Camacho Jr., (42-2-1, 23 KOs), who made his Fight Night at the Tank debut in March, against an unnamed opponent in a 10-round junior middleweight bout. Salinas junior welterweight Jose “Chuy” Rodriguez is also on the card.
The opening bout is at 7:30pm.
