The Santa Clara Valley Water District’s rain gauge at Uvas Canyon Park measured 1.62 inches of rain in the last week, and the gauge at Loma Prieta hauled in 0.95 inches, according to a report from the Santa Clara County Farm Bureau.

The annual Spice of Life awards given out by the Chamber of Commerce are a tribute to the people, community and businesses that make Gilroy great.
