Gilroy – ConAgra Foods defeated Pizza N’ Stuff 21-6 Wednesday to secure a share of the first-half Men’s CC League softball title at Christmas Hill Park.

Jeremy Page hit two home runs to lift ConAgra Foods to a 5-1 mark. The Platinum Roofing Slammers reached 5-1 with a 14-7 nod over Lopez Investments. ConAgra and the Slammers will square off at 7:40pm on Tuesday May 8 at Christmas Hill for the first-half crown.

Brian Caswell went 4-for-4 and scored four runs for ConAgra. Francisco Orozco and Art Mancera netted four hits apiece for the winners. Randy Evanger went 3-for-3 for Pizza N’ Stuff.

Val Casillas went 4-for-4 and scored three runs to spark the Slammers effort. Manuel Juarez plated three Slammer runs with a double, single and sacrifice fly. Rey Martinez went 4-for-4 and Jess Lopez Sr. went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for Lopez Investments.

Feather Haven Feeds upset Los Gigantes 12-7 by striking for five runs in the sixth inning. Los Gigantes (4-2) dropped out of a first-place tie. Dave DeCarlo and Bob Reggiani each went 3-for-3, Brian Sullivan 3-for-4 for Feather Haven. Isaiah Gonzalez collected a triple and two singles for Los Gigantes.

Esmeralda Hernandez went 4-for-4 and scored three runs as Goldsmith Seeds stopped Stewart Title 17-10 in Women’s C League play Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Dora Olivares went 3-for-3 and Malina Contreras powered two doubles and a single for 4-2 Goldsmith Seeds. Cynthia Garza scored three runs, DeeDee Del Valle mustered three hits and Suzanne Fox tripled and singled for Stewart Title.

Bracco’s Towing completed a 6-0 march through the first half of the Men’s DD League Tuesday with a 21-13 victory over previously unbeaten New Hop Community Church at Las Animas Park.

Bracco’s struck for seven runs in both the first and second frames and never looked back.

Steve Huerta keyed the Towing first stanza with an RBI-triple. Huerta followed with a two-run single in the second. Jose Bueno lashed a two-run home run in the second as Bracco’s took a 14-7 lead.

Huerta and Alex Rojas each went 4-for-4 for the winners. Frankie Kurtz hit home runs in the fifth and sixth innings for Bracco’s. Danny Rubalcava and Fernando Dominguez added two-run swats.

Matt Elam and Ted Tencati each collected three hits for 5-1 New Hope.

Pacific Coast Bail Bonds scored four runs in the bottom of the final inning to squeeze past Kenko Utility Supply 20-19.

Joel Gaeta powered a two-run home run to tie it at 19-19. Kurt Szyndrowski hit a two-out single, make second on a walk and scored on Mitch MacVicar’s single.

Jorge Landeros opened the Pacific Coast sixth with a home run. MacVicar went 4-for-5. Kelsey Ashford and Bobby Cannon each went 4-for-4 and Don Tucker scored four runs for Kenko Utility.

No Soup 4 You won its second straight game, 10-8 over Trevino Brothers Construction.

Joaquin Chacon ignited the Soup with a homer, triple and single. Fausto Padilla and Kurt Gitmed each went 3-for-4 for the winners. Jeff Daugherty went 3-fof-3 for Trevino Brothers.

The Loco Boys defeated the Dirty Dozen 21-12 to leave both clubs at 3-3.

Jimmy Castaneda Jr. bagged two triples, two doubles and a single, scoring five Loco Boys runs. Elias Madrid added a three-run home run to the Loco Boys offense. Mikey Reggiardo went 4-for-5 for the Dirty Dozen.

Williams Dental Lab claimed the first-half Women’s B League title with a 23-5 victory over Kluck University Tuesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Cherie Somavia notched two singles in an eight-run seventh inning as Williams improved to 5-1. Emily Szyndrowski went 5-for-5 and Nina Mongielo added five hits for the Lab.

Michelle Barry homered in a 4-for-4 effort for the 4-2 Kluck attack. Antoinette Bowe netted four hits.

Don’s Vending completed the half at 3-3 with a 16-1 nod over Kay’s Kids. Cory Casillas homered and Laurie Dixon went 3-for-3 for the Vendors. Kiely Sheppard went 3-for-3, Valerie Logan 2-for-2 for Kay’s Kids.
