Daniel Paul Hanten, born on December 28, 1949, in Camp Belvoir, VA, passed away at his home in Gilroy, CA on September 26, 2012, of natural causes. Daniel is survived by his daughters, Erin Hanten of Gilroy and Kimberly Wilson of Hollister, his sister Rosemary Hanten of Reno, NV, and his grandchildren, Destiny Martinez and Noah Jacksich.
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Hanten, his parents, Amelia and Frank Hanten, and his brothers, William and David Hanten.
 There will be a celebration of Daniel’s life and a memorial service at 8282 Murray Ave Gilroy, CA in the recreation hall on Saturday, October 20, 2012, starting at Noon.
