St. in Gilroy.
The South County Derby Girls will host a Bruiser Bash from 7 p.m. to midnight this Friday at the 9 Lives Club on 7430 Monterey St. in Gilroy.
In addition to enjoying live music, raffles and a pin-up contest, locals will have the opportunity to meet the derby team.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased at www.ninelivesclub.com or by calling (408) 634-TEAM.
Note: Any women 18 years and up are encouraged to join. It is a pay-to-play sport with membership dues of $40 per skater per month. Practices are held throughout the week in the evenings. For more information about the team and how to join, send e-mails to in**@*******************ls.org.
