She was the wife of the late, Walter “Mac” Mc-Guire.

Mrs. McGuire is survived by her daughter, Maureen M. Hunter of Gilroy; her grandchildren, James Hunter of San Jose and Rosella Hunter of Gilroy.

Mrs. McGuire was born and raised in Rochester, N.Y. She was a legal secretary, and she was also a singer during the “Big Band” era. She moved to Gilroy in 1982 from Southern California. She enjoyed traveling and had just returned from a trip to Ireland with her daughter. Dian was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Flower Lovers Club and the Jolly Rogers Air Force Club.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
