Vote in the garlic polls
GILROY – This weekend, be sure to try out the new touch-screen voting system on display from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, located at Christmas Hill Park, 7050 Miller Ave.
Festival guests can vote for their most and least favorite garlic foods and answer festival related questions. Last year, garlic fries were voted ‘most favorite’, while garlic ice cream was chosen as the ‘least favorite’ food. Can the fries hold onto their title, or will we see the new fried garlic bologna sandwich take the title? Only you can decide!
See hands-on just how easy and accurate the machines make voting and gain confidence in the system used for the upcoming November election. Guests can also register to vote, sign-up for permanent absentee voting and get other election information.
