Dear Editor:
It’s time to dump Dennis Taylor’s column. I’ve always seen his
writing as hateful, adolescent and lacking of any substance or
direction.
Dear Editor:

It’s time to dump Dennis Taylor’s column. I’ve always seen his writing as hateful, adolescent and lacking of any substance or direction.

After his attack on Mr. Angelino I am convinced he is truly ignorant. I’ve known Fred Angelino for 30 years and have never met a finer human being. Dennis’ hatred for anything conservative blinds his journalistic judgment. Mr. Angelino has more knowledge of groundwater in South County than 99 percent of the people at the Santa Clara Valley Water District. Fred’s life credentials and service to community set him apart from most people. Let’s look at a few examples:

A veteran of World War II, serving in both the European and Pacific theatres. Director and chairman Gavilan Water Board. Director and chairman Santa Clara Ag. Water Advisory committee. Director Santa Clara Flood Advisory Committee. Director and chairman Loma Prieta Conservation District. Successful farmer and business man.

These are just a few of Fred’s accomplishments and doesn’t tell of the hundreds of individuals and families he’s helped. Believe me the list is long. Now let’s look at what we know of Dennis Taylor’s credentials:

Award winning journalist (I’m not convinced of this). Sierra Club member. That’s it? Awfully pathetic resume Dennis. So editor, you should dump Dennis for a more credible liberal writer. The local junior high would be a good place to start.
