Gilroy High snapped a three-game losing streak in dominating fashion, routing Leland 11-0 on Monday.

The game was originally supposed to be played last Thursday.

Ezzie Gobea paced a resurgent offense with five goals and two assists. Morgan Rogers had a hat trick (three goals), and Alex Kachakji, Monica Marrazzo and Tayler Silacci had one goal.

“That was a good game for us to have after a couple close losses,” GHS head coach Adam Gemar said. “We’ve been working hard on defense. Every team is different in the Mount Hamilton Division, so we have been practicing for each.”

The Mustangs are 3-3 in division play with Saratoga in town Tuesday to close out the first half of league play.

Game time is 3:30 p.m.
