Figueroa Ready for MMA Pro Debut

Gilroy’s Anthony Figueroa makes his Mixed Martial Arts professional debut Saturday when he participates in the Cage Combat Fighting Championships at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. The first bout is 7pm.

MMA, one of the country’s fastest growing sports, consists of disciplines of boxing, wrestling, submission grappling and kickboxing.
