A free e-waste collection fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens, located at 770 First St. in Gilroy.Â
The event will be hosted by the Community Agency for Resources, Advocacy and Services. Known as CARAS, this local nonprofit organization serving Gilroy and the surrounding areas is “committed to the empowerment of the community and the betterment of Latino families through the development of leadership, advocacy and cultural awareness,” according to its mission statement.Â
