On Aug. 14 I had the pleasure of accompanying Queen Melissa Noto, and two members of her court, Princess Jennifer Lazarus and Princess Julie Cordia to the Sub Acute Care Hospital of Saratoga. This is a long-term care facility for children. These children have treks, feeding tubes or GT tubes. Most have brain damage. My grandson is a patient at this facility due to a drowning accident on Aug. 15, 2002.
Many children have families that travel across the state to spend a little time with them. Our girls were eager to go and spend time with these children.
They sang Disney songs to them, and read children’s story books to them. These children need stimulation and this was a wonderful gift these three girls gave these children.
Gilroy is great because when we have a gift we share it with those in need. Thank you Melissa, Jennifer, and Julie you help Gilroy to be great!
