Gavilan jumped out to an early lead against Foothill Tuesday, but just couldn’t hold on. The Rams fell 4-2 at home. 
Hibsen Tamayo-Davila scored right out of the gate on an assist from Enrique Rodriguez. Minutes later, the Rams struck again on an assisted goal to lead 2-0. 
Foothill scored twice in the first half to even the score. It notched two more goals in the second half to win the conference opener. 
Gavilan (0-4 overall, 0-1 in conference) will be back in action at 4 p.m. at Chabot Friday.
