Gavilan and Ohlone needed five sets to decide their game Friday and at the end, it was the Renegades on top.
Ohlone bested Gavilan 3-2, winning 22-25, 25-16, 14-25, 25-18, 15-12 in Fremont.Â
Three Rams had double-digit kills in the game. Savanna Hartman led the charge with 13 as well as 13 digs, three aces and a block. Lilly Martinez had 12 kills, while Samantha Nydam had 11.Â
Cheyanne Dela Merced racked up 41 assists and 10 digs. Daisy Valladares had 20 digs for the Rams.Â
Gavilan (8-9 overall, 2-2 in conference) will be back on the court at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to host West Valley.Â

Gavilan and Los Positas battled hard for 90 minutes, but neither could gain an edge.
