Police arrested a Gilroy man on charges of indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl at Nob Hill Foods.
Jason Wenly Sadler, 39, of the 500 block of El Verano Way, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Gilroy Police Department after being identified in a police lineup by the victim and the victim’s mother, Sgt. Wes Stanford said.
Sadler allegedly exposed himself at Nob Hill, 777 First St., at 6:21 p.m. April 15, Stanford said. Police took a report at the time, and forwarded the matter on to detectives, Stanford said.
After the girl and her mother independently identified Sadler as the suspect in the police lineup, detectives determined that he also was the suspect in a case in January 2009 that had yet to be filed, in which a man exposed himself to two women at Monterey and Seventh streets.
Sadler remains in Santa Clara County Main Jail North on $35,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear at the South County Courthouse at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
